Dinner with Miss Philippines Earth at Yoshinoya

There was once a time when I dreamt of becoming a beauty queen. I know it’s a long shot, but I think having a dream at a very young age pushes a child to choose and work on a path she knows she will soon reign.

I have joined pageants in high school, and I highly urge girls to go and experience this kind of activity (maybe at least once in their lives). There is just something about beauty pageants that prompts you to be at your best; brew confidence, exude poise and class.; and always be more than just a pretty face.

Back at work, I used to be part of the hosting team to Bb. Pilipinas candidates, that is why meeting empowered women seems like a second nature to me. I love talking to dreamchasers and women of substance. I get so high and happy!

That is why I got really excited when I was invited to meet some of the Miss Philippines Earth 2017 candidates.

Last June 24, I found my Snaky Reed Somerhalder Sky heels prancing in the marble floors of Greenbelt 3. The dinner was held in Yoshinoya.

While waiting, I got served by these delicious entrees from the restaurant.

It was just my second time visiting a Yoshinoya branch, and I was so surprised how lovely and courteous the staff were. The food tasted healthy and were cooked just right. I am obsessed in their red tea by the way! 🙂

Nine candidates arrived that day, and they were exceptionally smart, quick-of-tongue, commanding in presence and beautiful.

They performed, and introduced themselves, and I was left in awe about how young and empowered they are. I highly applaud these girls for chasing their dreams, and for being ambassadors of environmental awareness and preservation of our nature.

I also got the chance to chat and mingle with them. It was fulfilling and amazing because I got to bond and made new friends! Beautiful friends! 🙂

Carousel Productions Inc. (Founder) organized and launched in 2001 the MISS PHILIPPINES-EARTH Beauty Pageant, a beauty event whose raison d’etre was to have its candidates and winners actively promote and get involved in the preservation of the environment and the protection of Mother Earth.

Together with the Miss Earth Foundation, MISS PHILIPPINES-EARTH aims to give a strong emphasis on environmental awareness programs.

The winner of MISS PHILIPPINES-EARTH will serve as the Ambassador to environmental protection campaigns in the country, and represent the Philippines to one of the biggest international beauty competitions – the MISS EARTH Pageant. – Miss Philippines Earth
