Aside from singing “rain, rain go away, come again another..” I don’t even want to finish it, and make it come back another day.
Living in Marikina, rain has been such a commonplace that “baha” is part of the community vocabulary, and everyone just knows how to prepare.
I remember waking up with my Mom putting our things heights above their original places because she knows that the flood is one tricky b*tch. Oops. Sorry.
But again, aside from singing it, I can’t help but wonder and think about a lot of things when it rains. Especially now that I have some time on my hands; which I struggle to juggle wholeheartedly, as a shoe designer, public speaker, and a content creator both for the blog and vlog.
Pondering if there are also others who think the same way? Probably yes, probably not.
Here they are:
- More time to catch on backlogs! Yay!
I think fellow bloggers agree! Haha 😀 Finally some time to create those posts, and mind you, it takes a lot to create! Haha Let alone find inspiration! I have loads on my list right now, so time to fix my blog calendar! 😀
- Oh my, I have to cancel on the event!
It happened this morning actually! I have to go to an event in BGC today but had to cancel because hello, baha sa tapat ng bahay namin! :O
Well look on the brighter side, we can use today to make other productive things!
- Mr. Sun, where are you? I need natural light for my flatlays!
I don’t have those fancy gadgets yet for my photography, so I really rely on a natural light when taking product photos, especially those I will use for Instagram. So yeah, re-schedule! And better wake up around 10am or else our images will be loaded with shadows! 😛
- I hope the typhoon won’t cut my signal!
Yes, praying so hard it won’t! The posts need to be out there, and the line is long! 😀
- This bed-weather is making me sleepy to blog!
And the main caveat in this – is the weather. It’s just soooo conducive for relaxation and taking a break from all the hustles of work. So you may have to put up a fight from your bed, and stay seated on your work-desk! 😀
One more thought, and I think the most important of them all is to “Stay safe and dry!” I hope and pray the typhoon will stop and pass soon, so we can all celebrate our happy mornings and beautiful days again!
