Via Galang is a Social Media Consultant, B/Vlogger, Public Speaker, and an Entrepreneur. She started blogging in 2005, where blogging was still in its formative years. It basically contained musings about college life, teenage rants, personal thoughts, etc. Via even dreamt of becoming a book author or an editor-in-chief in women’s magazines one day, but life has different and much better plans.

She finished and passed the Nursing boards. Since writing was still her first love, she felt fortunate to even land a job as a Search Engine Optimization Copywriter – despite the lack of formal training in writing. Via learned about keyword research, keyword search operators, search engine algorithms, optimization strategies, and many others. This knowledge posed an indispensable skill as she switched careers from writing to training.

She was once dubbed as a “walking encyclopedia” in college, for her knack of explaining things elaborately, solicited or not. Hence, the blog title and probably what brought her to the public speaking career.

Her second job in Training and Resource Development allowed her to meet and train different kinds of people from varied locations. She started pioneering modules on Power Grooming, Personality Development, Real Estate Target Market and Salesmanship. And subsequently created programs for Online Selling, and Social Media Marketing, founding from the strong background she obtained from SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

In 2016, Via rekindled her passion for writing as a means to help her then-present company market its products, same as with documenting her experiences and views about life.

On a side note, she also manages Versaheel, her own shoe enterprise. She particularly uses social media to promote her products and her collaborative engagements with other brands.

In 2017, Via married the love of her life after dating for only less than two years. They matched on Tinder in 2015, but Via had to unmatch 5 minutes later.

Their love story took a second chance to begin when they fatefully met at a club 9 months after; not knowing they were the same people online, and the search was finally over. 😉

Currently, Via is working as a full-time Blogger and Public Speaker conducting training and workshops on Social Media Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Effective Business Presentations, Blogging, Public Speaking, Business English Communication, and Personality Development.
